Oh oh oh! I went to see the fireworks at the esplanade! It was soooo pretty!!! :D I was there yesterday, which was a Sunday. Ah, pretty pretty. I recommend all to see!

OKie, Sunday started off with church and stuff. Then after service and all, we went to celebrate sister Poh Suan's birthday. It was pretty cool! We went to this restaurant, somewhere near penninsular shopping centre. Not sure where though, but it's where Poh kwan's father works, I think? Yup! So we got something like 50% discount?! LOL! How neat is that?! Verrryy Neat!

So we got there around 2.45, got a nice table. While Denise and Grace went to buy the cake, POh kwan, Jas and I made ourselves comfy at the table. When both of them got the cake, we decided to get into position. It's reallie funny. We hid at a corner, waited for Sister Poh Suan's arrival. (She didn't noe anything about this.. So the table was huge, the bear was on her seat, the card was right in front of her. Ah, picture perfect!)

As soon as she saw the bear, we walked out from our comfort corner followed by a rousing Happy Birthday, with Denise holding the cake. :D Awww... She was soo touched.

Anyway, then after lunch cum dinner, we decided to go see the fireworks at the Esplanade! My goodness?! It was soooo crowded, squeezing an ant would be difficult lah! :S It was like human traffic jam. We found a gr8t spot just near the merlion around 6.45pm, near 7pm. Then the fireworks only started at 8.30. So Denise and Poh Kwan went to get macs. LOL! little did they noe that when they come back, it'd be tough. Yup... They were like squeezing through everyone, and got scolded and cursed at too. LOL! Quite jialat ah. So around 8.30pm sharp, the barricade was removed and everyone just rushed in like some big singapore sale. :S So from right in front, we were thrown behind by the wild human beings of Singapore. But somehow or rather, we managed to get right beside the huge merlion. *Shrugs* Don't ask me how? Pretty cool though. LOL!

Anndddd!! Silly POh kwan and jasmine, I bet this was their first time seeing fireworks, they were like screaming at every *boom* or *bang* sound the fireworks made when it was thrown up into the sky! I bet the couple beside us went deaf. Then Poh Kwan made a reallie funny comment. She said, "Whoa! So romantic! Why no one kissing?! Come jas! Lets kiss!" and together, both of them did a reallie loud "Muah Muah Muahhh" thing. HAhahahaha! Made both Grace and I laughed till we had stomachahe. Ah, funny frens we have there. LOL! And Denise was no where to be found, until much later when the fireworks were over. Er? Yea....

Then after the whole fireworks, we went to meet up with the rest. A pity Yeeeee couldn't make it, cause the traffic was so bad, she had to turn around and go home instead. Then I think it's cause of the crowd, the reception there was reallie bad. Starhub, M1 and whatnots all failed. EXCEPT! the trusty ol' Singtel. LOL! So after many futile attempts, we finally got hold of Sharon jie and the rest. :S *Sheesh* So met up with them later and went home. It was a reallie good day.

Whee! Life is good!
