He was a man who had the courage to take on a team that was very much ostracised. CJC started off with a coach who was handling too much teams on his plate, having little time to coach us. Then, at the beginning of 2004, he made a decision to concentrate on SAJC, leaving CJC in the slumps. CJC played hockey with much defeat. Being made fun of by many other schools who were "better", knowing that they can beat us "hands down"...

The first impression he gave us was that he was a total sadist. Who tells their players to run 15 rounds the first day? NO intro, no nothing. Just running. He was known as the Yuhua coach then. Back in STC days, Yuhua was known to play "dirty". Many didn't like the sound of him coaching us...

Yet despite all, he taught us hockey from scratch. Many would have probably given up, since most of us didn't even noe the basics of hockey (We couldn't push a ball properly!!!)! And look at us now?! We make cool passes, dribble pass players, hold onto the ball with much confidence... And we don't play "dirty" hor. Whatever that word was used for...
We've only got Manjit to thank...

... Since most of the time our teachers-in-charge were invisible... Like when erman's tooth came out and everywhere was bloody and gory, where was the teacher i/c lahh. Who was gonna take him to the hospital? And Manjit had to settle things for him.

While other teamss have their school's support- Paying for their pitch. We have ourselves to pay for our pitch trainings. Arugh. So every week is collection for hockey fund day. So much so for being supportive. Suckers. Then Manjit's kind enough to pay half of the cost for pitch.... Compare 40 people paying the same amount of portion one person pays... that's quite alot lah... :S

I guess one mistake costs quite alot... Sigh. What will become of US. :(

Today was reallie a let downnnn. Down down down. But I guess it's time we learn to settle with defeat and pick ourselves up and start attacking again!

It ain't over till the fat man whistles!! Lets get on track and run the race once again!
