Oh my goodness!! I had a great adventure to start with this morning! Firstly, I woke up late. So I rushed around the house. Managed to get out of the house at 8 plus or so. THen was thinking if I should cab down, but I'd be a lil' too early. So since the 51 came, I hopped onto the 51 then was thinking if I should cab after that. LOL! It just so happened the 153 came! So I got on the 153. Took a little nap.... LO AND BEHOLD!!!! I was nearing punggol already. :( I got off the bus immediately and flagged for a cab. Aww.. And it came instantly. Hahaa. :D So I got on the cab and told the driver "Jalan Pemimpin". Then the driver didn't noe where it was. So I said in my bestest best chinese...

Me: Ni zhi tao na xie gong chang na bian?? Marymount Rd!
Uncle: Marymount Rd ah? Na li ah?
Me: ... Thomson Rd?
Uncle: oh... Ni yao qu thomson Rd?
Me: Not really leh uncle, Shi thomson Rd the kao jing. Er... *Oh Lord, help me pleasE!!* Oh! Ni dong na ge Raffles Junior COllege mah??
Uncle: Ohh.. Raffles ah! Hao!

Ok.. SO we were like going round in circles in some ang mo kio estates. And he was driving at THIRTY km/hr ?!?!?!?!?! *DIES* And it was already 930am!!!!! :S The fastest he actually went was FIFTY km/hr. Till all the cars behind were honking at us..
So we went round... round... and round and round somemore...
Finally! He gave up. He asked me, "xian zai wo men yao qu marymount road... Shang qu ju shi le. Ni yao zhuan zuo hai shi you? Zuo shi *blah blah blah*, you shi *blah blah blah *" And I was like "Huh..... Uncle wo bu chi tao leh... :S Wo men zi zhi shang?"

Hahahahhaa! Oh bother!
Then uncle called his friend to ask him where Jalan Pemimpin is. His friend said opposite shun fu. ANd then I was "SHII!!" (yes in chinese) so loudly, I think I kinda scared uncle. Oh well. So we went along there. ANd he got lost again. SUper funny. This time he made a wrong turn and we were heading for serangoon. By then it was already 942am. Yeah, we saw Junction 8 opposite! So he made a U-turn and we were still hobbling along. Oh well.

I reached Jalan Pemimpin at 950am. Hallelujah! And uncle was really nice about it. Cause he was lost yeah... Then he said if he cannot find, then I don't have to pay him anything. If he does find, just pay him the usual. I didn't really noe what the usual was. But I estimated as close to the meter as it was. Hahahaha. So I decided on $8.60. Whee! Gr8t job von!

So that's my fantastic morning adventure for the day. Thank God my boss wasn't in. Praise the Lord!! :))
