So recently I've got this new goal, i.e. to get into the dean's list. Apparently 80% of my friends (those I hang out with) are in that list. So that's it. THAT'S IT. It's now von's turn! And because of my new motivation, I've decided to blog less and work harder. hurhur. JIA YOU VONS! :D

Anywayy, lemme do an update. :)
I dragged my housemates shopping last week and I got my running shoes! Yay! It's nice and pretty - erm.. gray, silver, blue. Kinda cool. Well, it was definitely one of the cheapest one alr - $80. The rest were $198, $159 and those weren't even the newest brands. Bleurghh. The Funny thing is that it's puma... (normally people buy stuff like nike, adidas..) okay! lemme show u a pic!

So that's my pretty shoes :) So motivated to run now. new things does wonder to the mind :)

Andd... So... Run! We did! My housemate was so excited to run at Centennial Park that evening that she made us rush back from sch to run with her. Before running, she insisted we do some warm-up. My other housemate and I were like "aiyahh.. dont' need to do lah.." But she still did lah. So we went downstairs and she did some leg stretches. Lifted her legs on the stairs for elevation... Half way through, she was on the ground... "I think I sprained my ankle..."

so the most enthu about running didn't run in the end. Poor soul. She's also better now... can walk and all. LOL.

Okay, so that was my funny moment of the week.

Something exciting... I won a textbook!! More motivation to work harder! haha. Well, I've actually bought the book from singapore... So I wasn't reallie dying to win the book, but played for the fun of it. And lo and behold....

... I won!! So Thank God for that. :) Now I get to sell my other books. hehe. I was thinking of asking Frank for his signature on it. lol. So funny hor. :) My friends were telling me to sell the hard-cover one (the one I won) and keep my soft-cover one, cause it's lighter and all. But it makes perfect sense to actually like keep my prize eh?
Ok, so lemme tell u how it came about. So my lect said he's gonna give away a textbook to someone. And so he took 2 coins and threw them in the air, the person to guess the right side wins. And this goes on until there's a final person standing. :) So first & second was heads/tails... and the last one was tails/tails. Wohooo!

And just this evening I went down to PowerHouse Museum to check out the career fair. It was not bad. Thank God I went, cause it was helpful. I talked to this lady from onesteel. And apparently there's great opportunities. Well, she didn't mention about not being about to work cause I'm not a PR and all. And the best part of it all is that we get HEAPS of experience on hands-on work. We get to go to the site and work over there with many other interns. That sounds uber fantastic! Anddd... As a group of students we can relocate to other parts of Australia to work at their other plants. And she told us that some students actually head down to Brisbane tog and go gold coast during the weekend. lol. Cute huh? :) So come september, I'm gonna apply for that. I hope I get it. Seriously, I haven't got much choice. Singapore doesn't seem to want me leh? O_o If I do get an internship in Aust, I'll be gone and won't be back till November 2010...

Okay, my week's really packed this weekend.. I'm going for home bible study this friday evening and we're cooking some hongkong food! Like dumplings and dandan noodles and some fantastic desserts i think? lol. So exciting! I can't wait! I hope it turns out good leh.. hope we'll manage to take some nice pics. Will show u guys! :D:D
Andd, I got some pre-mix cake stuff... So my housemate and I gonna have some yummy cake/pudding stuff this saturday. reallie excited. :) I think it's reallie nice to have nice housemates... it's essential when u're overseas. Second to internet. lol.

Speaking of internet!! Apparently we've got ALOT of GB left. So I can dl heaps. But I was just told we're running low alr. So I can't dl that much anymore. lol. So funny lah. Currently watching "Sweet relationship" this taiwan drama. Well, now I can only dl after 12. THat's fine by me. Since I'm gonna be a mugger from now on (got a new goal!)... I'll have to read more notes and all :D
