1. "You can't say you're christian if you're not living a christian life"

Wow... strong words. I guess I needed to hear that... Sometimes I feel my life contradicts what I would wanna preach. And in life, there are many hard decisions to make. Who ever said following Christ was easy? But maybe it's all worth it.. Definitely? I guess it's easy here to say I wanna do this this this, but when I'm back in singapore and you guys are all here, I'm afraid I wouldn't have the support I would like to have...

2. Boon shared about how important it is to have scripture based faith, and that reallie got me thinking. A pastor who was just about to give a sermon, encountered an angel. And so the angel said, "I've got something to tell you." And the pastor, not wanting to hear what the angel had to say went, "no, I do not want to hear it... don't tell me..." But the angel persisted, "But I GOT to tell you." Similarly, the pastor kept his stance, "no, no, please don't tell me". After they had this exchange for a while, the pastor relented and went, "okay, if you must tell me, then please do". The angel said this, "Today, your name is written in the book of life." And the pastor replied, "I wished you didn't say anything for I can no longer base my faith on scripture alone."

Ok, I guess this may seem a little extreme, but it's true that it's important to have faith based on scripture, because experience may wear off after a while, and when the feeling's gone so will your faith. But God's word will remain, and maybe we should cling onto that...

3. "If you love me, feed my sheep"
I'm constantly reminded to evangelise, to build relationships with people... being christian isn't a relationship between you and God alone, but it's also stretches outwards to others. :))
